Inspections and progress!

Big progress this week. Brick outside is almost complete, as is trim and siding.  Plumbing, electrical and framing inspections have all been done.  They insulated yesterday - so now we wait on that inspection.  Then it is on to sheet rock next week. 
The insulation gives a sense of what the inside of the house will be like now that you can't see through the walls.  These are pictures of the family room and what will be the kitchen.  Now on on to paint selections for the outside of the house.  Happy Thursday!

I am back

Well it has been too many weeks since I have written.  I was caught up in the end of school, making selections, and going to France for 14 days......alas back to reality.
The house is progressing nicely....
We have shingles.  Framing is complete.  Electrical and wiring are being completed today.  Plumbing is done.  I have selected cabinets - being built.  Bought all appliances.  Front porch is bricked.  Fireplace is bricked and they are working on brick for the house.  Now it is the tick tock of the clock waiting for inspections so the contractor can sheetrock.  I will try to blog at least every other day.  Ta ta for now.
