She loves it! There is still a list of things to do: new lamp, rug, window treatments, etc. But, I thought I would share the progress. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.

We are hosting Thanksgiving this year. Mr. TMD is the last of 9 children, so to say there will be lots of family and fun is an understatement! I have been so busy trying to get the house organized after moving that I have not even thought about Thanksgiving decorations. Our mantel was looking pretty bare, with the exception of some left over Halloween pumpkins.
A new......
I wrote about updating my daughter's room last week. You can read about it here. I have started by painting her bed.
I went to Scotts Antique Market on Friday. I was going to take more pics for all the treasures to show you all, but then I found this fabulous cow hide rug & now it is loving my living room.
It is done! I finished the gallery wall in our hallway. Here it is before.
My daughter, Collette, has requested a room make over. Her instructions are for it to be more modern (which means lose the pink!). She already selected the paint colors before we moved in and I knew the Maskros chandelier from Ikea would be perfect for her future mod squad room. Here it is before.
I have stacks of black & white photos just waiting to be hung.
Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. So, now that the bench for the banquette is done - and I am LOVING it.
I have always loved a booth or banquette. We had a cool retro booth in our very first house and it was a blast. Think about it, any time you have a choice at a restaurant between a booth and a table the booth seat usually wins - right? We have a great space for a banquette in our very open kitchen/family room.
Big progress!! Mr. TMD (Traditionally Modern Design) hung the shelves and I organized! Love the orange storage pieces from Ikea. They play on the orange cubbies. Still need to get ring pulls for the file cabinet and a new chair - thinking blue?? But for now I am loving this area.
I hope you all had a great Halloween and are all sugared up! We carved pumpkins. It is a fine art.
