Looking Across The Pond.....
Happy Friday to all! It has been a crazy few months here at our home. We were busy pondering a big family decision and now I can share our news. We are moving "across the pond" (Atlantic Ocean) to England!
While this was an unexpected opportunity we are all very excited and nervous about it! We will move this summer for 2-3 years.....just enough time for our son to graduate high school! (Yikes) Speaking of which we have been very busy applying to several American Schools and are now waiting on replies. Once that is done we can figure out where to live. It is all a process and I have to keep remembering to take it one thing at a time. Our "to do" list seems to grow by the minute.
Funny how life works. We had just spent about 7 months renovating our house, moved in last August and now we are moving this August. I started this blog to write about doing this house and my love of design, etc I know this is an adventure that our family is going to love, although we are realistic it will not be easy. We all sat at dinner in London over Easter and made a "bucket list" of the places in Europe that we want to visit, so I might just have to start writing about travel this fall here at TMD.
Hope you all have a great weekend. I promise to follow up on my coffee table progress from the Spring into Action link up party. I got sidetracked by my knee surgery (all good now) last week and never posted the final.
