Update Tuesday

You all have been following along as I have done work in every room in our house.  I thought an update to a few previous posts was in order.  I started posting our house tour and wrote about the front porch here.  I had a long list of things to do (still not done) and  wanted to show you the progress I have made.

Sorry for the dark photo.  I planted boxwoods in the pots and bought these great wicker chairs at Ikea.  They are so comfortable and good looking. Still need some outdoor pillows and a small table or two - but it is getting there.

I had redone a little console that I found at Ballards Backroom.  It needed painting and shelves.  I wrote about it here and here.  Well, I finally painted it gold and put in mirrored shelving.

Still needs styling, but I am thrilled with how it turned out.  What are you up to today?
